A new seasonal omakase experience inspired by
Kyoto's quiet autumn evenings.
To our most cherished guests — those who have sat at our counter, witnessed the dance of binchotan embers, and understood that silence between courses is its own form of conversation — this evening is for you.
Autumn has returned to Kyoto's hidden gardens, and with it, a new chapter unfolds in our kitchen. Each dish in this seasonal omakase has been composed like a poem — born from the philosophy that fire transforms, silence reveals, and ritual sustains.
We invite you to return — not as a guest, but as part of the story that Kurohana continues to write.
Complete seasonal omakase experience — ¥48,000 per guest
"I do not create dishes. I listen — to the season, to the ember, to the silence between the kitchen and the guest. Hospitality is not service. It is the art of making someone feel they have arrived home."
Chef Fujiwara's journey began in the traditional kaiseki kitchens of Kyoto, where he spent fifteen years mastering the art of seasonal composition before founding Kurohana.
His philosophy centers on omotenashi — the Japanese spirit of selfless hospitality — where every gesture, from the placement of chopsticks to the timing of each course, becomes an act of quiet devotion.
Our private tasting counter seats only eight guests per evening. Each session is an intimate journey through the season's finest offerings, guided personally by Chef Fujiwara.
